Have your emergency equipment priority in 2009

Many people long to reject the tradition, the honor of making this personal time resolution this year. This tradition has been along the track for the most part - the idea of adding the pressure of our busy lives seem discouraging in this day and age. Although I do not encourage people to make personal decisions about the New Year's resolutions, I'm the one who loves to see people make changes in the way that work and live in order to improve security and give a bit of tranquility.
One of the easiest things for families to spend this year is to create an emergency kit for their homes. Victims of disasters and unforeseen complications can strike at any time. Preparation of these things can increase safety and give you peace of mind.
What You Should Know
Me folders broken into two types: Home and Travel. A home is usually stored in the delivery room and given the potential added value of being trapped at home for long stretches of time during a disaster. However, during many disasters, evacuation is necessary. In these cases, an emergency kit that can be easily accepted and you need something like a large backpack waterproof, easy to carry bag or work here.
Pack your emergency kit
There are many elements to be included in an emergency kit. Here is a list of the most common classification for essential kit recommended important and good to have. Each family to evaluate the list and collect what they believe is most important to them in a time of crisis.
Kit of essential items
• LED flashlight: These reliable torch is a necessity. The new technology is far superior to the battery, the incandescent bulb and provides drainage better and more visible than any other light source available. Remember to include two LED flashlights and extra batteries.
• First Aid: a complete kit with the stock of basic medical supplies such as bandages, disinfectants, pharmaceuticals base, etc. If your family needs daily medication, be sure to store the extras in the kit too.
• Multi-tool or pocket: A robust multi-tool with the basic tools in one easy to carry package. A good multi-tool has a screwdriver and knife blades of different sizes for a number of different applications.
• non-perishable food: Include foods that do not need to be cooked in your supply kit. Pack enough for at least 72 hours (3 days) period. Nuts, granola bars, dry foods, and peanut butter are excellent choices. Maintains a good life too. Do not forget to include a can opener (or make sure your multi-tool has one)!
• Bottled Water: Pack a gallon of water per person per day. This not only not drinking water (which desperately need your body), but sufficient for the use of sanitation needs.
• Covers hot: For your home, warm, dry blankets only, preferably wool. Space blankets to keep your travel pack space and lighten the load.
• Agrees with water / lighter: It is important to have the fire tools which need more heat.
Major Kit
• AM / FM: Important information is often spread via radio waves in an emergency. Keep spare batteries in your kit to the radio, if you choose to include in your kit.
• Extra clothing: If the weather is concerned, the value of warm, dry clothes increases. Put clothes in the bag of water.
• A dust mask: Disasters nature can have a great mess, stirring dust and other harmful particles.
• Bleach: This common household own a number reasons, the most important is the purification of drinking water. Sixteen drops per gallon that the drinking water.
• cash (and change): the vending machines and credit cards will not work when the computer is off. Keep the money in a safe place in your game if you would have to buy supplies in an emergency.
• Whistle: Often overlooked, we should not underestimate the importance a good whistle. These small wonders are easy to use, safe transport, easy to listen to emergency personnel.
