Many people long to reject the tradition, the honor of making this personal time resolution this year. This tradition has been along the track for the most part - the idea of adding the pressure of our busy lives seem discouraging in this day and age. Although I do not encourage people to make personal decisions about the New Year's resolutions, I'm the one who loves to see people make changes in the way that work and live in order to improve security and give a bit of tranquility.

One of the easiest things for families to spend this year is to create an emergency kit for their homes. Victims of disasters and unforeseen complications can strike at any time. Preparation of these things can increase safety and give you peace of mind.

What You Should Know

Me folders broken into two types: Home and Travel. Bottled Water: Pack a gallon of water per person per day. This not only not drinking water (which desperately need your body), but sufficient for the use of sanitation needs.

Covers hot: For your home, warm, dry blankets only, preferably wool. Space blankets to keep your travel pack space and lighten the load.

Agrees with water / lighter: It is important to have the fire tools which need more heat.

AM / FM: Important information is often spread via radio waves in an emergency. Keep spare batteries in your kit to the radio, if you choose to include in your kit.

Extra clothing: If the weather is concerned, the value of warm, dry clothes increases. Put clothes in the bag of water.

A dust mask: Disasters nature can have a great mess, stirring dust and other harmful particles.

Bleach: This common household own a number reasons, the most important is the purification of drinking water. Sixteen drops per gallon that the drinking water.

cash (and change): the vending machines and credit cards will not work when the computer is off. Keep the money in a safe place in your game if you would have to buy supplies in an emergency.

Whistle: Often overlooked, we should not underestimate the importance a good whistle. These small wonders are easy to use, safe transport, easy to listen to emergency personnel.
